After listening to the feedback from our customers we have added many commonly requested features including, smooth scrolling when viewing results which reduces load times by up to 10x, customisable trend graphing and dashboards which allow analysis results to be monitored against a number of parameters quickly and effectively.  The carbon footprint reducing Netportal has been specifically designed for use world wide. As an environmentally responsible business we are aiming to be 100% electronic with post and faxes being dropped in favour of the web. Printing and postage incur greater costs which would normally be passed on to the customer, but once NetPortal has been experienced the cost savings, superiority and advantages over the traditional approach will be appreciated. The data is assured for ten years so the need to print and file results is eliminated, certificates can simply be generated on demand using the simple intuitive NetPortal interface. Your data can also be downloaded into excel or open office for additional data manipulation and all the data is backed up onto at least four separate servers across the globe thus assuring complete data integrity

 NetPortal synchronizes directly with the appropriate laboratories servers and completely bypasses the need for files sent by email, therefore avoiding spam blocker isues. The data is always up to date, eliminating the delays associated with waiting for emails to arrive and results to be loaded common with the antiquated Excel based systems. It is platform independent which means one can securely access it anywhere at anytime from any computer, mobile phone or device with web access.

 Samples can be registered with ease, and with FAL bar coding technology all you have to do is scan the barcode on the product and it is registered, it is as simple as that; no more lengthy typing!!! FAL have provided significant cost savings in terms of registration labour for its customers. FAL can supply thermal label printers and barcode scanners at preferential rates where required. Before orders are submitted order numbers can be entered, costs of the request can be viewed and the order can be saved or edited before submission, allowing for cost control.

 A plethora of Test Reports can be produced at a click of a button, minimal user skill is required. Data can also be filtered with ease and downloaded into spreadsheets for further analysis and reporting. There is even a built in simple to use online graphing button. The system does not require the user to own any software such as excel, nor does it require file manipulation. The system is fully compatible with the free Open Office package. Being web based all issues can be solved onsite at Falabs without the need to install and configure computers on a customer site.

 Customers can access their Customer Service Charters for regular review, Out of Specification reporting procedures are editable allowing customers to choose who and at what time they want the lab to contact them in cases of issues. Customers can choose one or a mixture of contact procedures for example emails, phone calls, text messaging and even define what time they want to be called at, FAL can call any time of the day or night. Customer specifications for all food products can be viewed and edited by them and prices can be checked

 It is without doubt the easiest and most user friendly system on the market and more and more customers are choosing to move over from excel/email based reporting systems.
