Our Goal is to provide the food industry with the most cost effective and high speed food testing service in our 20,000 sq ft facility in the UK, allowing for more testing thus contributing to the safety and health of the population.

Safe Food - Fast is what we are about and that is our primary catch phrase.

To do this we have brought together the most experienced management team of Food Microbiologists and Chemists as well as what we believe to be the best laboratory based IT team in the UK. We continue to invest in the right calibre of staff so we can exceed expectations and add value through our services

With no institutional investors and endless tiers of management involved we are able to re-invest all our profit back into the business. It is this philosophy which has allowed FAL to invest in the latest state of the art equipment and pass on significant savings to its customers. This is where our secondary catch phrase Investing in Testing originates from.

Chemistry operates at over 97% of its claimed turnaround times and of course microbiology has to operate at 100%

All our testing is checked to make sure it is 'fit for purpose' and being UKAS accredited we assure all our routine testing to the international ISO standard 17025:2005. We are always updating our methods and I.T. systems

Which means we offer a cost effective service, allowing our clients to maximise testing and remain competitve as well as reducing their costs

From sample collection to results transmission we excel in all that we do. NetPortal is the industry leading results service which also allows clients to access their test results, down load them into excel or print out certification, view their own product specifications, change contact details, view prices and review their service.

We have a turnover objective of reaching over £15 million with two major sites by 2013 and are committed to reducing costs to the UK Food Industry through technological advancements and Web based services.
